Charlestown approves general entertainment license for Hungry Haven

The Charlestown Town Council unanimously approved a general entertainment license for Hungry Haven, allowing indoor and outdoor entertainment Wednesday through Monday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., the same hours as the prior year.
No members of the public spoke for or against the application, and no one from Hungry Haven appeared at the hearing. The town clerk reported no sign-ups to speak. Councilor Stokes moved to open the hearing and later moved approval; Councilor Sarah seconded the approval. The motion to grant the license carried 5 to 0 and was made subject to the restaurant’s submission of the required paperwork.
The council recorded the approval on a voice roll call and noted the license is contingent on the applicant providing all documentation required by town regulations.
