The Little Compton licensing authority opened a remote hearing under the statutory notice cited in the meeting to consider transfer of a retail beverage license (Class BD) for the Stalking Horse Tavern, located at 90 Plaza Road.
The notice read in the meeting cited “Title 3-5-19 of the General Laws of Rhode Island, 1956, as amended,” and described an application to transfer stock and the retail beverage license currently held by RL Flanders Incorporated, d/b/a Rhode Island Flanders, represented by John Dorsey, Esq., as court-appointed receiver, to Stalking Horse Tavern, Inc.
The chair asked for public comment; none was offered. A motion to approve the transfer application “with all state and local” conditions was made, seconded and approved. The chair announced the vote as 4-0 in favor.
The council did not state additional conditions on the record beyond compliance with state and local requirements.
