Millard School Board approves routine business, personnel actions and bargaining recognition

The Millard Public Schools Board of Education voted on a slate of routine agenda items, personnel actions and union recognitions during its March meeting.

The board approved a motion to excuse two board members who were representing the district in Washington, D.C.; approved the minutes from the March 3, 2025 meeting and the treasurer's report; reaffirmed multiple board policies; approved two rules (5,730.1 on noncustodial parents' access to student records and 10,000.1 on site-based planning and shared decision making); adopted the district resolution outlining minimum staff training for 2025–26; recognized the Millard Education Association as the collective bargaining unit for teachers and nurses and separately for paraprofessionals; and approved routine personnel actions including hires, resignations, leaves and contract addenda.
