Staff updates and other notes - County staff reported completion of a recent dredging project on the J.K. O'Neil County regulated drain south of Lafayette. Staff said the dredge extended from the bridge on State Road 231 eastward to South Ninth Street and included a branch that heads south; the work addressed an area where the ditch was filled to about 4 feet and water overtopped into farmland. - Staff provided public guidance about a potential solar farm in the northwest part of the county and said the Tippecanoe County stormwater drainage ordinance (2023 revision) includes guidance and technical requirements for solar operations; staff noted callers had inquired and reminded the public that any solar project must comply with the county ordinance. - Buck Creek–Colburn wastewater project: staff said the bid openings are scheduled in mid‑April.
