The San Joaquin County Planning Commission approved the consent calendar and took two procedural actions on calendar items.
The commission approved consent item number 1 in a single motion and roll‑call vote. No member of the commission or public requested that the item be removed from consent.
Separately, staff requested continuances for two items. Item 2, described in the staff report as a general plan map amendment, zone reclassification and major subdivision for Oakwood Ventures, was continued to a date uncertain so staff can continue work with the applicant and the City of Manteca. Item 4, a conditional use permit represented by attorney Mike Acum, was continued to May 1 to allow the applicant and staff to resolve outstanding issues.
The commission moved and seconded the motion to continue items 2 and 4; the motion passed on a roll call. The commission then closed the procedural portion of the agenda and proceeded to the public hearing for item 3.
All continuances, approvals and dates were recorded on the meeting record; staff said the item continued to a date uncertain will be re‑noticed when it is agendized again.
