Legislative committee approves minutes and agenda; members report recent appointments and remaining vacancies
Summary

The committee took two procedural votes at the April 3 meeting: approval of minutes from March 25 and March 27, and approval of the current meeting agenda.
Tom Handy moved to approve the March 25 and March 27 minutes; Todd Baber seconded. The chair called for the question, and members approved the minutes by voice vote. Later in the meeting, a motion to approve the agenda was moved and seconded and likewise carried by voice vote.
Dustin, staff, told members the governor's office had submitted four new appointments to the council since the last update: Todd Byreuther, Roger Haringa, Katie Sheehan and Dan Young. He said he had not yet received reappointment notice for Damon Doyle, and had no replacement yet for Craig Holt; he added that Matthew Hepner was up for reappointment and no notice had been provided. Dustin said the apparent vacancies would not prevent the council from achieving a quorum for current business.
No votes on policy items or rule changes were taken during the meeting. Members discussed outreach to the governor's office asking for reappointments and the timeline for existing terms; Dustin said the term expirations for Damon Doyle and Matthew Hepner occur on Saturday, April 5.
