Jenny Venos of Algen Realty presented the request on behalf of owners Nathan and Alicia Zinner. Venos said the proposed zoning and lot layout follow R‑1 guidelines and that nearby subdivisions show market demand for housing. She noted comparable recent sales in neighboring subdivisions.
No members of the public registered opposition at the hearing. A commissioner moved to approve the rezoning as submitted; the motion carried by voice vote. The commission noted the case will be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners next month.
