"Overall, it's going to be $6," Darren Young, director of food services for the school district, said during the public hearing, and he described the agreement's stepped wage increases: $2.50 in 2024–25, $1.00 in 2025–26, $1.00 in 2026–27 and $1.50 in 2027–28.
