Chair Maria Serpa presented a draft consolidated petition form intended to replace separate PDFs and to streamline submissions.
Members generally supported consolidating the forms into a single petition to reduce confusion for filers and to ensure consistent information is provided. President Seung Oh recommended that the form include a reminder that letters of recommendation should include the recommender's licensing status and contact information. He asked staff to confirm the minimum number and type of recommenders if a statutory requirement exists. Committee members also discussed adding a requirement that petitioners provide proof of continuing education in pharmacy law, ethics and cultural competency when seeking early termination or other penalty reductions.
Staff and members discussed online logistics: several members recommended moving date tables and FAQs from the static PDF onto the board's website so the information can be updated without republishing the PDF. Chair Serpa said she would work with staff to revise the form and noted the committee intends to present the updated draft to the full board in April for approval. There was no formal committee motion at the meeting.
