Baltimore County redevelopment authority forms budget, recruitment and acquisition committees ahead of April budget deadline

The Baltimore County Redevelopment Authority on a virtual meeting organized three standing committees — budget, recruitment and property/acquisitions — and set a compressed schedule for a budget submission the authority must provide to county staff.

The work grew out of a discussion led by the authority chair and county staff about the need to complete a draft operating request and recruitment materials before the county’s budget cycle. “We have a budget that we need to discuss because it’s due back to the county by the April 15,” the chair said, explaining why the April meeting schedule had been advanced.
