Council requests CIP study session updates on Evans Creek and Eastrail; quarterly report to return in April

City staff presented the Q1 2025 Capital Investment Program update at the Committee of the Whole on April 1 and asked council for feedback on which projects the council wanted to see in more detail at the scheduled study session.
Deputy Director Vangie Garcia and Tess Wilkinson (project lead) briefed the committee and asked councilmembers where they wanted more detail. Councilmember Forsyth requested an update on Evans Creek and asked for a brief Eastrail update. The presiding officer asked staff to highlight any programmatic changes since the CIP was finalized late last year, including facility items. Staff noted TBD‑funded projects in the packet are marked with an icon for council reference.
Staff will return with a study session in April that will include the requested project updates and a table of changes to help council members see what has been modified since adoption.
