Committee members said the park’s landscaping has “improved dramatically” compared with several years ago. “They really take pride in their work,” said Steve Anders, BrightView manager, who joined the meeting remotely and responded to questions from the committee.
The committee noted the written quality-assessment summaries were included in the meeting packet. No public comments were offered on the BrightView assessments. After brief discussion the committee closed the item and moved on.
The remarks were largely affirmations of ongoing maintenance rather than requests for new contract terms or funding changes. Committee members said the assessment notes in the meeting packet were “very helpful,” and that the recent walkthrough with staff confirmed visible improvements across the park.
