Committee approves one-year IT services contract authority for Port Control

Dennis Kramer, Assistant Director for Airport Development, said the city currently uses an existing contract for IT staff augmentation, cybersecurity and related services; that contract is expiring and the department seeks authority to go back out to bid. Kramer said the services include staff augmentation, cybersecurity expertise and purchases of equipment and software and provide subject-matter expertise that supplements the airport’s internal IT team.
Kramer said the department’s request includes an initial authorization amount of $350,000 for the new contract. The committee voted to approve the ordinance; the chair announced Ordinance 234-2025 stands approved.
