Alton selectmen reorganize leadership, approve 2025 committee assignments
Summary
At the April 1 meeting the Board of Selectmen elected Nick Bonapane chair and Paul O'Rochelle vice chair and approved a slate of committee assignments for the coming year.
The Alton Board of Selectmen held its annual reorganization during the April 1 meeting and approved leadership and committee assignments for 2025.
Selectman Nick Bonapane accepted nomination and was elected chair by voice vote. Paul O'Rochelle accepted nomination and was elected vice chair. The board then reviewed appointments and liaisons for planning, budget, capital improvement, conservation, Cyanobacteria mitigation, facilities, milfoil, parks and recreation and other town committees and agreed to the proposed slate. Several members volunteered for or agreed to serve as alternates where applicable.
Following discussion of committee availability and meeting-time conflicts, a single motion to approve the reorganization and assignments for 2025 passed by voice vote.
The board did not record roll-call vote tallies in the public record; the meeting audio shows unanimous voice approval of the motion.
