Votes and formal actions - ZC24081 (Litmax Multi Service Inc.) — truck terminal, 22645 Cherry Hill Road, New Lenox Township: TABLED to the April meeting at the applicant’s request to allow completion of a traffic study.
- ZC24103 (Jean LP / Soltage IL Devco) — commercial solar energy facility, Manhattan Township (22645 Cherry Hill Road area): APPROVED with nine conditions (see separate coverage). Roll call recorded a majority in favor; final tally recorded by staff was Yes:6, No:1.

- Refund of contractor permit and license bond: Approved for reimbursement to property owner Robert Popper in the amount paid by the homeowner to repair non-compliant deck work; county collected $5,200 from the contractor’s bond and will reimburse Mr. Popper after processing.
Notes on procedure and follow-up - In several solar cases the Planning and Zoning Commission had previously recommended conditions; in every case approved by the committee the staff asked for documentation (drain-tile surveys, conservation plans, archaeological studies where required, interconnection plans with ComEd, and AMA/decommissioning financial assurances) before construction permits are issued. - A number of applicants agreed to post bonds or surety with townships or road districts to protect local roads and to provide assurances for landscaping/fencing maintenance.
