Holly Baez of the telecom program section recommended the change, telling commissioners "the current surcharge is set at 3¢," and that "staff is recommending that the commission adjust the uniform surcharge from 3¢ to 6¢ starting 06/01/2025." Baez said fund projections for the next 18 months…
