City Engineer Horne told the Selma City Council on April 1 that the city submitted six applications to the Fresno Council of Governments under the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) and Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) programs. The applications include four surface-transportation (pavement reconstruction) projects on Caltrans-eligible routes and two alley-improvement projects aimed at reducing dust and improving alley access.
