The Community Preservation Committee reviewed an eight-page FY26 report and funding proposal and agreed March 26 that the draft is near final and should be circulated to town meeting members and posted online ahead of town meeting.
Kristen circulated the draft and committee members praised the concise summary format. Joe Sheehan said the report is a "one-stop shop" for status and dollar amounts and suggested a cover page for public distribution. Members discussed distribution mechanics: handing the report out at town meeting could invite extended floor discussion, so several members recommended posting the report on the town website and including it in the town meeting packet instead, and holding information sessions for those who want detailed discussion.
The committee did not take a formal vote to approve final publication but directed Kristen to consult with the relevant town authorities about distribution and to provide an update at the April 8 meeting. Julie Barbaresa was asked to post the document on the CPC webpage when finalized.
