Deltona announces citywide sidewalk installations; crews repairing trip hazards

Field operations crew leader Travis said crews are already repairing trip hazards in neighborhoods and described recent work. "We're over here fixing sidewalks for trip hazards. We just did about 10 yards of concrete," Travis said. He said crews identified an eight-foot section with a large depression and expected multiple trucks on site for upcoming repairs.
City staff did not provide a citywide timetable or total project cost in the meeting. Travis identified a next repair site near El Cam in Jessamine and said crews would continue similar repairs at other locations.
The announcements were delivered as part of a sequence of city updates during the meeting; no formal vote or budget action was recorded in the transcript on the sidewalk work.
