The Planning and Zoning Commission approved a request to replat Lots A and C in Homestead Grove (around 4746 South Washington Street) to split Lot A into three separate lots and to create shared access connecting to nearby development.
Planner Miss Grasser presented the application on behalf of the owners, Magnolia Equity LLC and JVK Investments LLC, saying the replat would create lots labeled D, E and F and keep the properties within the corridor overlay district so new access points could be shared with adjacent lower south lots. The staff recommendation to approve noted that no public comments were received during the public hearing.
Why it matters: the replat will allow the owner to subdivide an existing parcel into three buildable lots under the city’s overlay rules, enabling infill development consistent with corridor standards.
The commission opened a public hearing, received no public comment, and approved the replat by voice vote.
