Cabot School Board approves proposed 2026–27 budget estimate, insurance renewal and property sale; upholds student expulsion

On student discipline, the board heard staff recommendation and then voted to "uphold the administration's recommendation to expel student 4602 from the remainder of the 2024–25 school year." The board chair said words to the effect that "words do have consequences," and the superintendent and other members offered remarks intended to emphasize accountability and learning from mistakes.
Finally, after an executive session on personnel matters, the board moved to approve personnel as presented and approved the item by voice vote.
