District counselors outline multi-tiered program and show data on student supports

She described Tier 1 classroom lessons (goal setting, empathy, motivation and resiliency), Tier 2 small-group interventions using curriculum such as "Y Try Tri," and Tier 3 work for higher-risk students that can include referrals to clinical therapy.
Examples and data Taylor highlighted campus examples showing measurable gains after targeted work: a Central Elementary second-grade group showed growth on a hope/motivation scale after a 10-week group; Northside Elementary reported an 18% increase in self-regulation after a six-week group; and the high school Student Success Center recorded 2,325 check-ins this year. Taylor also referenced GoGuardian alerts as part of higher-risk monitoring.
