The committee discussed using separate QR codes tied to distribution channels to track where responses came from: one for schools, one for the chamber of commerce, and one for parks/community posting areas.
Plans include a printed flyer with edits, a city-letterhead cover letter to accompany printed packets for schools, a separate letter to go to the chamber, and laminated flyers for parks. One council member said superintendent Mary Ronan had agreed to distribute the school-targeted materials once they are provided.
Councilors discussed distribution to the library and several restaurants, and said additional placements (Kroger or other community posting areas) may use the parks QR code rather than the chamber code. Staff said park flyers and the broader printed distribution should be completed this month.
