The Olivette Parks and Recreation Commission on the evening of its January meeting approved minutes from November 2024 and December 2024 and adopted its 2025 meeting calendar as amended.
Commissioners first agreed the November minutes should be corrected to include the names of residents and the reasons they spoke during the public-comment portion; a commissioner said the minutes’ summary did not record the reasons for opposition that residents expressed. Commissioners approved the minutes “as amended” to add those details and approved the December minutes as presented.
The commission then considered the 2025 meeting dates and moved the March meeting one week earlier to avoid a scheduling conflict with a Ladue School District event. Commissioners said the location line on the agenda was leftover text from last year and confirmed no location change was intended. The calendar was adopted as amended.
Both votes were taken by voice and recorded as passing. The commission asked staff to resend the revised meeting schedule and to create recurring Outlook invites for the approved dates.
The commission also clarified procedures for handling written communications and public-comment documentation going forward.
