At the start of the meeting the clerk read multiple liquor license hearings that will be held in April for businesses including Masala Time, El Rancho Mexican Cuisine LLC, Lemon Leaf Cafe LLC (DBA Little Lemon Leaf Diner) and Sassafras LLC. The clerk said all of those hearings are scheduled in April and asked if any questions were necessary.
The board also took action to approve three sets of minutes (regular session, liquor minutes and closed session minutes) and other routine consent items, a combined multiple gaming raffle application and two letters of credit that the staff recommended releasing. A commissioner moved to approve all seven consent items as presented; the motion carried with aye votes.
Later the board considered six Special Class C per diem liquor license applications made by the Sultana Education Foundation for dates between April and October 2025—specific dates included April 4 (beer and wine), May (beer, wine and liquor), June (beer and wine), August (beer, wine and liquor), September (beer and wine) and October (beer and wine).
