Representative Polanco moved to approve the minutes for March 26 and March 28. The motion was adopted by voice vote after the chair called for discussion and none was offered.
The committee next reconsidered Senate Bill 1180. A motion to reconsider was offered and carried on a voice vote with no opposition recorded. Representative Crane then moved to send Senate Bill 1180 to the House floor without recommendation so the full House could debate and vote on the bill; that motion also carried on a voice vote, with no recorded opposition.
The chair closed the session by noting the committee would meet at the chair's call, and the meeting was adjourned. In closing remarks, the chair said, "Tracy would really like us to be called the chair. That would make her happy so she could put her Christmas lights up," a comment that drew no procedural effect.
