Doral mayor announces April events, Doral Live concerts and park phase 2 opening

Mayor Kristy Fraga announced a slate of community events for April in the City of Doral, including the return of the Doral Live outdoor concert series, an Easter celebration at Doral Central Park on April 5 and a citywide Earth Day cleanup and community garden on April 22.

Fraga framed the events as opportunities for residents to gather and participate in city programming. “We have some exciting news and events to share,” she said, listing concerts, holiday gatherings and volunteer opportunities across the city.

In the brief announcement, Fraga also said the city will mark National Day of Prayer on May 1 at the new amphitheater and that phase 2 of Doral Central Park is "just around the corner," without giving a specific opening date. She directed residents to the City of Doral website and the city’s social media channels for event details and links.

The announced April activities are: the Doral Live outdoor concert series; an Easter celebration at Doral Central Park on April 5; and Earth Day activities on April 22, including a citywide street cleanup and the creation of a community garden.
