Streets and Sidewalks Committee authorizes up to $298,220 to bid Phase 16 of 2024 sidewalk repairs

Bob Phillips, chair of the Streets and Sidewalks Committee, said March 31 that the committee authorized staff to seek bids for Phase 16 of the city’s 2024 Sidewalk Repair Program with an authorization not to exceed $298,220.

Staff member Mister Tenerington told the committee, “Asking for emergency legislation, but we are asking for authorization not to exceed $298,220.” Tenerington also explained that the resolution of necessity had already been passed and property owners had received required notices. Councilwoman Susan Westfall and Councilman Jeffrey Schilling had no questions during the presentation.
