Some board members asked for closer cost estimates before purchasing; one board member said he wanted to be sure district estimates were not inflated, asking staff to tighten numbers and confirm how licensing and class sets would be assigned under next year’s block schedule. Curriculum staff said teacher input guided the recommendation and that orders will be adjusted to actual semester schedules.
