Resolution O12502 approves Hartsville's participation in a multi‑jurisdictional narcotics task force operating in Darlington County. The city manager said the task force currently includes one to two Hartsville officers and that the joint effort targets serious narcotics crimes.
Both resolutions were moved and seconded and were approved by voice vote. No member vote tallies by name were read into the public record. Council members and staff indicated they expect similar interagency agreements in the future to aid countywide law‑enforcement coordination.
