City staff presented several purchase orders during the meeting. City maintenance requested purchase orders for Morton Salt (PO 2025-0858; follow-up PO 2025-00847) totaling $16,000 to replenish salt supplies ahead of the next winter season. Kiesling Construction was awarded a contract for concrete sidewalks at Canal Park (PO 2025-0842). National Gas & Oil was listed for fuel (PO 2025-00840) for $15,002.84. Those purchase orders were announced and entered in the record; the council did not debate them at length.
No motions to table these items were recorded; each ordinance was adopted by roll call vote.
