Councilors asked clarifying questions about model power (kV) and whether the county was procuring a high-penetration generator; officials agreed to confirm the generator power rating to ensure the county procures the 160-kV unit the councilor preferred rather than a lower-power 100-kV unit. One councilor suggested budgeting for a spare unit in a future budget cycle because of lead times for replacement when a unit fails.
No appropriation vote was recorded at the meeting; staff said they would clarify the model specification and return with any necessary procurement details.
