Fallon County schedules REMS dispatch training; commissioners ask for oversight and consider governance options

Commissioners also raised a governance question — whether dispatch should operate under the sheriff’s office rather than the existing administrative assignment — and directed staff to study pros and cons for the upcoming budget/organizational review. County leaders agreed to schedule follow‑up check‑ins and to ensure any external vendor training would be coordinated and budgeted if necessary.
