The Taos County Commission approved continuation of the county’s food-service contract with Sunpro Services. County staff said Sunpro has provided meals for about 11 years and the proposed continuation reflects a price adjustment tied to a 4% cost increase on meal and supply prices.
The contract amount recorded on the agenda is $338,000 inclusive of gross receipts/travel-related taxes; staff said the contract will be increased by $30,000 to reflect the vendor’s price changes. The county said the vendor relationship has been satisfactory and requested authorization to finalize the contract.
Commissioners moved and seconded the contract action; the motion passed on roll-call vote.
