The Granite School District Board of Education approved a slate of administrative appointments and transfers on April 1, formally recognizing multiple new principals, assistant principals and associate directors across elementary, junior high and high schools.
District leaders introduced appointees at the meeting and asked them to stand for recognition. New appointments and transfers announced included, among others: Johnny Maddox (Director, Granite Peaks Adult Education); Tiff Iacono (Associate Director, Elementary Special Education); Jen Bodell (Marketing Associate Director); Taylor Kader (Associate Director, Parent Advocates); Britney Ambrose (Associate Director, Retirement and Evaluation); and the appointment of principals and assistant principals across dozens of schools (Kristen Logan to Fremont Elementary, Allison Milne to Gorley Elementary, Jared Wright to Granger High School and others). Many appointees introduced family members who attended the meeting.
Board members congratulated the appointees and staff noted the appointments had been circulated for board review prior to the meeting. The motion to approve the administrative appointments and transfers passed on a voice vote with no recorded opposition.
