Committee advances multiple housing and refuse measures; Commission review postponed

• Bill 29 (2025) — Amendments related to affordable housing (Section 8‑10.33): The committee recommended that Bill 29 be reported off for passage on second reading and scheduled a public hearing; there were no registered testifiers and no objections in committee.
• Review of the Commission on Economic Revitalization (Chapter 3, Article 15): The Office of Economic Revitalization presented background on the commission's formation, reports and priorities, including small‑business preference proposals and a pilot incubator. The committee voted to postpone action and tasked the chair to draft a committee report and recommendations for the committee's next meeting.
