The Keller City Council approved a specific-use permit allowing a dental office to lease space in a proposed one-story, 11,000-square-foot multi-tenant building at 1241 Keller Parkway in the Town Center. Planning & Zoning had unanimously recommended approval, and no written opposition was reported.
Staff noted that the applicant's project fills a middle lease space between two approved restaurants (Mobetas and First Watch). The SUP is required under the Town Center zoning district for medical or dental clinics; the applicant said lease agreements are in place or nearing signature for several of the building's spaces, including Pacific Dental and other tenants.
Council moved and voted to approve the SUP unanimously. Staff said additional site-plan and elevation details will return to council in a later agenda packet as the civil plan is finalized and site requirements are addressed.
The approval allows the dental clinic to occupy the identified lease space subject to the SUP conditions and the usual site-plan review and permit process.
