Council declines new four-way stop, opts for signage; APS request deferred

Separately, the council received a recommendation from the streets, alleys and traffic committee on a request for accessible pedestrian signals (APS) citywide, including at Saint Vincent Avenue and Roosevelt Street, and voted to table that item so staff could gather more information about costs.
Council members also discussed a separate report about a street light at Fifth and Prosette Streets; staff said Ameren had been contacted and that the light appears to have been installed since the last meeting. No further action on that street-light item was recorded in the transcript.
