Board approves additional streetlights for Oaks of Edgewood and Rustic Heights; monthly cost increases noted

The record does not resolve which count is correct and the board did not request a numerical clarification on the floor.
For Rustic Heights Phase 2, staff said three lights would complete the neighborhood’s planned lighting; the board recorded a monthly increase of $95.37. The developer prepaid some lighting costs during the permitting process, staff said.
Separate motions to approve the Oaks of Edgewood lighting and the Rustic Heights Phase 2 lighting were made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Staff will add the new lights to the city’s monthly utility billing and coordinate installation with the developers.
