Street-sweeper lease resolution: The council approved Resolution R2025-02 authorizing a lease agreement with NCL Government Capital for a street sweeper. City staff said leasing is more cost-effective than purchasing a new sweeper (purchase price cited at about $400,000). The lease payment was cited as $46,000 per year, with a buyout option of about $93,000 and a lease term described in discussion as five years. The council approved the resolution by roll-call vote.
