The council confirmed multiple appointments: Ken Brownfield and Ross Norbury to the airport board and several names to the Booneville Housing Authority and local agency funding lists (Betty Saint John; Morris Carter; Mike Poinetskert; Lindsay Murphy; Kathy Sears; Brent Bolesarth). The council also voted to affirm Tim Cooper as Boonville Fire Chief; the city administrator said Cooper would start April 21.
The council set a dangerous-building hearing for 806 Third Street and 810 Third Street for April 21 at 6:30 p.m. Staff said property owners and their attorneys have been contacted; the city attorney will review any proposed abatement plan. If owners submit an acceptable written plan by an April 7 deadline and the city attorney and inspector approve it, the council said it may not need to hold the full hearing.
