The Northampton County General Purpose Authority took several procedural votes at its April 1 meeting.
The board approved minutes from the March 4, 2025 meeting. The board also approved the 02/2024 draft GPA audit after the auditor's presentation (see separate article). Treasurer Ron Donches presented the March 31, 2025 treasurer's report; the board approved the report as presented. The board approved payment of invoices totaling $8,724.28, which included final invoice amounts listed in the packet.
Invoices approved in the packet were: Alfred Benish and Company, $1,176.84; Norfolk Southern, $967.50; Shay, Sainci, Kellhart and Deshler (solicitor services), $665.00; and Riley and Company (final installment for audit), $5,914.94, for a total of $8,724.28. The treasurer reported total assets of about $1,415,000 and cash and cash equivalents near $1,040,000 as of March 31; he reported a year-to-date net loss of $26,808.09 and an ending fund balance of $1,000,065.03.
