The Board of Yakima County Commissioners, meeting at 10 a.m., approved the consent agenda as read into the record and then voted to authorize an accounts payable warrant for McKinney Glass, issue date March 14, 2025. Commissioner Curtis moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded and adopted by the commissioners present. Commissioner Lindy and Commissioner Curtis voted "aye." The consent agenda included: auditor accounts payable warrant approval (issue date 03/14/2025); approval of commissioner minutes from the March 3, 2025 work session; Financial Services item GRAMA 97 20 25; an interlocal agreement with the City of Yakima for the Autumn Wylie City Sewer Study (Agreement 98 20 25); an interlocal agreement with the City of Yakima for the Yakima Airport Terminal Phase 1 project; Human Resources Resolution 66 20 25 (additions/deletions to budgeted positions in Fund 121, County Roads); Resolution 60-7-20-25 (additions/deletions to budgeted positions in Fund 125, Public Services — Water Resources); Resolution 68 20 25 adopting a 2025 pay plan for certain direct reports of Yakima County; Agreement 96 20 25 (a 2025–2026 labor agreement between the board and AFSCME 2264, Washington State Council of County and City Employees, covering county roads maintenance operations, construction, ER&R and public services utility employees); and Public Services Resolution 69 20 25, which sets a public hearing to take testimony on proposed edits to Yakima County Code Title 8 (Outdoor Festivals) and Title 19 (agritourism).
"So your consent today are the following," Julie Lawrence said while reading the list of items. Commissioner Curtis said, "I move to approve the consent agenda as read into the record." The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote from those present.
After the consent vote the board considered a single regular-agenda item: approval of the accounts payable warrant for McKinney Glass (issue date 03/14/2025). That motion also passed by voice vote with the commissioners present voting in favor.
There were no public comments recorded during the meeting, and no substantive debate or amendments to consent items in the transcript. The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn.
