The board first approved the bills and payroll for the period Feb. 24 through March 9 and adopted the March 4 meeting minutes. All routine approvals were recorded as adopted without dissent.
On personnel, the board authorized the director and deputy director to employ Crystal Rossi, a part-time staff member, at an hourly wage equal to the current election professional II pay rate, effective March 3, 2025, until the full-time employee Robert Hunt returns to work. The motion was adopted without dissent after a brief discussion clarifying the effective date and the temporary nature of the authorization.
The board then moved into executive session to consider the discipline of a board employee.
