The Nelson Hackett mural selection subcommittee reported no formal recommendation at this meeting; scheduling and coordination remain in progress.
Commissioners were instructed to check for a scheduling email from Joanna Bell and to notify staff if they did not receive it. The Arts Council staff said the subcommittee will review dozens of proposals, select a narrowed list, and then make a recommendation to the full Arts Council. The council noted that mural selections stop with the Arts Council and do not proceed to City Council for final approval; once the Arts Council accepts a recommendation, installation will begin on the next 100-foot section of mural on Nelson Hackett Boulevard.
No vote was taken; the item was deferred to a future meeting pending subcommittee scheduling and review of proposals.
