Cabell County reports lower expulsions, steady Crossroads and virtual enrollment

Kurt Mann, a district staff presenter, told the Cabell County Schools Board of Education on April 1 that Crossroads Academy had 86 students enrolled as of March 21 and that district expulsions this school year totaled 52, down from 73 the previous year.
“This numbers are as of March 21,” Mann said while reviewing the Crossroads and virtual enrollment report. He broke Crossroads enrollment into program areas: 20 students in dropout-prevention, one in the pregnancy program, 19 at the youth reporting center, one out-of-state placement and 45 in traditional placements.
