The court approved a proclamation declaring April 2025 as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month and heard brief remarks from Allison Prince, director of development at Scotty’s House, the local child advocacy center. Prince invited the public to an April 2 ceremony and thanked the court for the proclamation.
