Assemblymember Pretlow, sponsor of the rules report for A.7515, told members the bill "would extend funding for state operations through April 3. It contains funding for institutional payroll, unemployment insurance, Medicaid payments, adult service programs, veterans' homeless housing, and general state charges." Pretlow also confirmed the bill carries a total appropriation of "$1,680,000,000."
The extender passed on a recorded vote announced by the clerk: Ayes, 140; Noes, 0. The clerk read that the act "will take effect immediately."
