Franklin County assessor: 2025 personal property assessment forms mailed; due March 1

Don Mintz, Franklin County Assessor, told the commission on Jan. 21, 2025, that the office has mailed the county’s 2025 personal property assessment forms and that taxpayers who have previously e-filed can do so again online.
"We have mailed our 20 25 personal property assessment forms. They can also be e filed. If you e filed in previous years, you can do that online. You will receive a postcard. They are due by March 1," Mintz said. He also invited residents with questions to contact the assessor’s office.
The remark came after the commission completed its action items for the meeting and was part of the period when elected officials addressed the commission. No formal action or vote was recorded on assessor operations at the meeting.
