Franklin County commissioners approve multiple contracts, bridge change order, union amendment and liquor license

The Franklin County Commission on Jan. 1 approved a series of commission orders covering law-enforcement service contracts, a bridge change order, a collective-bargaining amendment, equipment disposal and a liquor license.

The commission approved an on-call work zone enforcement agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission (MoDOT) to reimburse the sheriff’s office $10,000 for work-zone enforcement. The commission approved an agreement to provide dispatching services for the Oak Grove Village Police Department with fees described as $5,500 for the county services and mobile CAD usage charged at $1,000 per device; services begin Feb. 1 and run through December of the year stated in the agreement. A change order for the Franklin County Highway Department to address additional work on the Huff Road bridge, in the amount of $8,757, was approved.
